ETB has decades of experience in providing a complete range of HVAC and building environmental testing and analysis.
You can be assured that we have the right expertise, equipment, and industry-certified training resources to make sure that you get the highest level of quality reporting and insights.
AIR TESTING & BALANCING
HVAC Testing, Adjusting and Balancing (TAB) are the three major steps used to achieve proper operation of HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning) systems. We are industry certified, and able to handle projects of any scale.
Cleanroom Testing & Certification
We support testing and certification to industry standards for clean rooms in biotechnology, pharmaceutical, microelectronics, medical, military, manufacturing, telecommunications, and more.
Ultrasonic Flow Testing
Ultrasonic flow testing measurements can verify fluid flow without direct fluid contact, on a one-time basis or over a period of time, for HVAC water systems, fuel oil flow, process cooling, and other building fluid systems.
FUME HOOD Testing
Chemical fume hood testing, using special equipment to determine proper airflow, can establish compiance with regulations and standards specified by OSHA, AIHA/ANSI, SEFA, NEBB, and ASHRAE.
Indoor Air Quality Testing (IAQ)
Indoor air quality testing can help to detect the presence of potentially dangerous conditions, such as the presence of carbon dioxide (CO2), carbon monoxide (CO), nitrogen dioxide (NO2), mold, yeast, bacteria, radon, allergens, and more.
Vibration Level Testing
Vibration level testing and monitoring, using specialized equipment and analysis, can provide information that will keep machinery and building systems operating longer at an optimal performance level with the least overall cost.
Hydronic Testing & BALANCING
We provide hydronic balancing, the process of optimizing the distribution of water in a building’s heating or cooling system, so it provides the intended indoor climate at optimum energy efficiency and minimal operating cost.
Verification of installation and maintenance quality for HVAC systems can be a critical factor for client acceptance of project work and ongoing building environment health and safety. Our independent audits and reports can help you.
Duct Leak Testing
To improve energy conservation, duct leakage diagnostics can measure the airtightness of HVAC ductwork. A combination of pressure and fan flow measurements are used to determine the ductwork airtightness. .
Commissioning Support
The commissioning of HVAC systems and other air and fluid systems may require a thorough and comprehensive testing of a mechanical system’s performance, to avoid expensive after-project operations and maintenance repair costs.
Sound Level Testing
Sound level noise surveys, noise spectrum analysis, vibration analysis, and sound transmission testing measure sound transmission from building systems and other sources through open spaces and ceiling/floor and wall structures.
ASHRAE 110 Testing
ETB provides project support for ASHRAE 110 fume hood testing procedures and reporting, including face velocity measurements, smoke visualization challenges, exhaust system stability, tracer gas containment, and more.
